The Dynamically Enhanced vortex water systems use a different type of media in the vortex chamber that further influences the energy of the water as it flows.
This type of media was developed largely in Asia where it was discovered that clay could be fermented with a beneficial bacterial culture to create a strong bio-electric field in the clay. It was further proven than when this clay was fired in the kiln that a strong bio-electric field still surrounded the media.
One of the pioneers of this was Dr Teruo Higa in Japan, the inventor of EM (Effective Microorganism) Technology.
Other types of clay ferments have now been made into various types of ceramic media which is now generally referred to as "Infrared Ceramics" in Asia (primarily Japan and Korea). NOTE: In the USA the flex hoses that are included will be 1/2" x 3/8", and 1/2" x 1/2" flex hoses. This allows adaption to most standard (2) connection faucet system that have 1/2" connections.
NOTE: For international orders the flex hoses will be 1/2" x 1/2" and another 1/2" x 1/2". This is to accommodate the differences in 15mm connections in foreign countries.
NOTE: If you are connecting to a newer USA Single Faucet System you will need to request a " 1/2"to 3/8" Single Faucet adapter. The newer single faucet systems have a 3/8" connection stemming directly from the faucet. You will need this adapter to connect to the Under the Sink Unit as well as the 1/2" to 3/8" hose line. The Single Faucet Adapter will replace the 1/2" to 1/2" hose line.
